A note from Bonnie:

While on a return trip from South Dakota, artist Bonnie Mohr stopped to capture pictures of a fabulous mixed herd of beef cattle.  In the wide open terrain of the Dakotas, these Midwestern beef cattle have miles of range to run, play and eat.....all day long! 

This blonde cow was a sweetheart! I could see her eyelashes from 20 feet away, and I knew I would paint her.  There will be more paintings evolving from this material in the future.
