Wanna Be Friends Notecards

As a parent, you share in both the joy and the sadness of your childrens' lives.  This painting parallels a time in my life, when one of my children spent the better part of a school year with no friends, being excluded. 

This baby chick has lost his way, has no friends, or can't seem to find his mom.  In desperation,  the chick resorts to finding fellowship with this pear, hoping it will be the comfort and friendship he longs for.
