The arrival of spring means 'new life' everywhere, including the pasture.  This new baby calf frolics amongst the grown-ups, with not a care or worry!  Although new mothers are quite protective of their babies, the rest of the herd usually won't bother and seem to enjoy having a racey little playmate on the scene for a day .
